The NWT Initiative, occurring April-May 2016 in Fort Providence, Northwest Territories, is currently in it's second year as a QHO Northen initiative.  The goal of the iniative is to develop a culturally sensitive and needs-based health program that will be implemented by Peer Educators at the Deh Gah Elementary and Secondary School.  By collaborating QHO's resources with resources in the community, the two Program Co-Directors will be creating a needs-based health program that complements existing programs and services, while simultaneously filling knowledge gaps and addressing health issues in the community.
